Mac Davis Named NJ Goalie of the Year

MARTINSVILLE, NJ -

Glen Ridge goalkeeper Mac Davis was named the New Jersey Goalie of the Year today by the NJILCA - the governing body for New Jersey High School Lacrosse Coaches. Mac's selection as Goalie of the Year marks the first time any GR lacrosse player has been selected as "Player of the Year" at any specific position.

3 Ridgers Take All-America Honors, 6 Take All-State

Elijah Conte, Mac Davis, and Matt McMahon have been named to the prestigious ALL-AMERICA team by the New Jersey high school lacrosse coaches' association. With the All-America honor goes 1st Team All-State honors. Joining the previously mentioned players is Matt Lander, who was also selected for the All-State 1st Team. Rounding out the field were Jameson Smith and John Winchell, who were both selected to the 2nd Team All-State.

RIDGERS TAKE GROUP 1 CROWN

The Glen Ridge boys lacrosse team has captured the Group 1 State Championship after defeating Mountain Lakes by a score of 9-8. With the win, the team takes home their first ever state championship after only ten years as a varsity program.
